Your handwriting reveals your attachment style. That matters because the way we attach shapes every close relationship. It colors whom we are drawn to, how we love and where we pull away. Once you can see your pattern on the page, you can begin to rewrite it.
The Work
Beneath the persona lives the soul.
Most of us sense that there is more to us than the life we are living. The persona keeps us safe and accepted, but over time it can crowd out the soul. Something in us knows the difference, even when we can't yet name it.
Your handwriting knows it too. I read handwriting as a mirror of the soul. Every stroke is made below conscious control, and it reveals what the persona works hard to hide.
Your birth chart is the map. It holds the potentials you were born with, your gifts and your inherent challenges. Knowing them lets you work with your nature instead of against it. When you know what you were given, you can make choices that serve who you truly are.
Your birth card goes to the heart of why your soul incarnated. It names your soul mission. That is what you are here to accomplish in this lifetime. It shows the path of your inner development. And it names your key challenge along with the key tool you were given to meet it.
Jung called the journey from persona back to the Self individuation. For thirty years I have watched it unfold on the page and in the chart. A reading won't tell you who to be. It shows you who you already are, with your gifts and your shadow held in the same light, and from there the path home to your authentic self tends to become much clearer.
The chart and the card name the pattern.
The handwriting shows how you are living it.
Depth psychology brings understanding.
This work is for people on the journey toward a life of meaning.
It is for those willing to resist the demands of the ego and to look honestly at their depths and their pains. That is where the fullest life is found.
Who I Am
From the surface to the depths.
Long before the training, there were the patterns. I have seen them in people my whole life. In facial expressions, body language and word choice. In handwriting. Even in the structure of the body itself.
Thirty years of graphology sit beside an M.A. in Jungian psychology and my work as an Associate Professor of Psychology.
Early in my career the focus was personnel selection and personality at the surface. Traits we show and types we fit held my attention. Over the years the work moved deeper, toward what is actually driving us. That layer is more profound, and it is where real change begins.
The earlier work took me into teaching and publishing.
- ThesisPhi in Handwriting as an Indicator of Psychic Balance. Published. Chaired by Jungian analyst Dr. James Hollis.
- TeachingClasses for the Association for Psychological Type International on handwriting as an indicator of type. Workshops at Alverno College, the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and UW–Waukesha, among others.Introduction to Graphology webinars for students who sought out my work.
- ArticlesPublished articles on handwriting, psychological type and body language.
- SpeakingHas given talks nationally and internationally on the soul and handwriting.
- AnthologyThe chapter “Reading the Energy of Thought” in Audacious Aging, alongside authors such as Deepak Chopra.
